The
orientation for the Legal Aid Cell took place on 4th July 2024 at 12:30 PM in
Hall No. 8. This event was organized to orient the cell in-charges and deputies
on the functioning of the cells, which are set to commence operations from 6th
July 2024 (Saturday).

the Orientation:
An Introduction
to Legal Aid Cells was given by Dr. Aamod Shirali which had an overview of the
purpose and objectives of the Legal Aid Cells and the importance of providing
legal assistance and spreading legal awareness. Followed by the roles and
responsibilities of the cell in-charges and deputies. Then a detailed information
on the minor and major programmes to be conducted by the cells along with the guidelines
on how these programmes should be executed, including planning, coordination, reporting
and about the geotag pictures.
The
orientation was successful in providing the necessary information and guidance
to the cell in-charges and deputies. Dr. Aamod Shirali and Ms. Shaina Dhulapkar
emphasized the importance of commitment and dedication in ensuring the success
of the Legal Aid Cells. The attendees left the orientation well-informed and
motivated to start their work on 6th July 2024. This orientation marks a
significant step towards the effective functioning of the Legal Aid Cells and
the promotion of legal awareness and assistance within the
community.
